Uniform is a great way of showing that we are all in this together and proud of our identity.

• Academy blazer and/or academy branded v-neck jumper with badge - (Required)

• Year specific tie *provided by the Academy - (Required)

• Traditional white shirt with collar (not polo shirts) - (Required)

• Plain black tailored trousers or knee-length skirt (no pencil skirts) - (Required)

• Plain black belt if needed so trousers are worn correctly - (Optional)

• Plain black shoes *see guidance* - (Required)

• Plain black tights (Required if wearing a skirt)

• If you wear a headscarf or headband, it must also be plain black

We do allow students to wear discreet neutral makeup, but if we think it doesn’t meet our uniform standards, we will ask students to remove it.

Nail polish and false nails are not allowed and students will be asked to remove them. 

Jewellery and bandanas are not allowed to be worn at any time and may be confiscated if seen.

PE Kit

• Co-op branded ¼ zip track top / Co-op branded polo t-shirt - (Required)

• Plain black tracksuit bottoms or plain black shorts – no coloured stripes, ticks or brands. Plain black leggins are permitted with the academy logo on. Year 7 will be provided with track pants with logo on. (Required)

• Trainers (moulded boots recommended for football/rugby/ 3G activities) (Required)

• Black football socks - (Optional but needed for fixtures)

• Shin pads - Required for football

• Gum shield - Recommended for rugby 

• Black 1/4 zip branded pullover -  Year 7 will be provided with this item. (Required)

NB - Students wear their PE kit on the days they have timetabled PE to the academy. A Co-op branded top, either ¼ zip or polo t-shirt must be worn as the outer layer. Although additional Co-op branded PE items are desired, to support with the cost of living, plain black items are accepted (no ticks, stripes). Students will be asked to arrive in academy uniform if this standard can not be met.  A small stock of plain black items can be purchased from main reception.

PE Footwear

The Academy had a brand new 3G pitch fitted in September 2022. Metal studs are not allowed on this surface. We recommend buying multi-ground/ moulded/ plastic bladed boots that can be used on both the field and 3G (if clean). Astroturf or running trainers are also permitted and can be used inside the sports hall. These must be clean for indoor use.
