Principal's Welcome
It is a privilege to welcome you to Co-op Academy Leeds, a truly diverse and inclusive school where student progress and wellbeing are at the core of everything we do.
We have very high expectations at Co-op Academy Leeds - students learn and achieve their best when they feel safe, happy and have clear standards and expectations.
Our warm and supportive relationships with students mean that children can thrive and become independent and resilient learners who leave us at sixteen with an incredible future ahead of them.
Our academy ‘Qualities’ are embedded across the school. ‘Quality Time’ is a period of challenging, independent work that takes place in every lesson, every day. ‘Quality Reading’ is prioritised in all subjects to ensure that all students can make rapid progress in all areas and ‘Quality English’ is insisted upon in every interaction in the academy.
We have over 70 languages spoken in the academy and students benefit from our comprehensive Multi Lingual Support offer. Students with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities are fully supported by our SENDCo and her experienced team.
